At Connect Psychological Services, I offer a range of traditional and third-wave cognitive-behavioural therapies tailored to your unique needs:

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
A mindfulness-based approach that fosters psychological flexibility, helping you remain present and engaged while confronting life’s challenges. ACT focuses on values-driven decision-making to help you live intentionally.

Schema Therapy
Addresses core beliefs and coping mechanisms formed during childhood. Schema Therapy helps reframe self-concepts and improve relationships.

Trauma-Focused Therapies
Techniques like Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) address both acute and complex traumas.

Forensic Risk Assessments provide critical insights for court, immigration, travel waivers, and other legal purposes.

These assessments typically include:

• Multiple clinical interviews (2 hours each)
• Collateral reference contact
• File reviews (e.g., criminal records, victim
statements, medical records)
• Psychological assessment measures
• Structured risk analysis
• Comprehensive report writing

Each assessment summarises personal history, mental health status, risk-relevant variables, and treatment recommendations.

(Assessments require 15-20 hours to complete and are billed at $350/hour per the Psychologists Association of Alberta guidelines.)
